Atlabara has widened the point gap separating it from its closest rival, Munuki, to four points ahead of the final round of the local First Division League in Juba. This comes after Atlabara defeated Al-Merrikh 2-1 as part of the 25th round of league matches.
Atlabara is aiming to maintain the points gap between them and the runner-up. The team is set to face Gudele in a tough away match in the opening of the 26th and final round. They also have one postponed match remaining.
With this result, Atlabara raised its tally to 52 points at the top of the table, while Al-Merrikh remains at 30 points in sixth place.
Today, second-placed Munuki will be hosted by Nyakuron in an afternoon match at Buluk Playground, also part of the 25th round of the league.
