The draw for the 2025 FIBA Women’s AfroBasket finals in Côte d’Ivoire has placed our national women’s team in Group B alongside Mali and Cameroon.

The tournament finals will take place from July 25 to August 3, 2025, in the Ivorian capital, Abidjan.

A total of 12 teams will participate, divided into four groups of three teams each. The top team from each group will qualify directly for the quarter-finals, while the second and third-placed teams will compete in a playoff to secure a spot in the last eight.

The group stage draw is as follows:
- Group A: Egypt, Angola, Côte d’Ivoire
- Group B: Mali, Cameroon, South Sudan
- Group C: Senegal, Uganda, Guinea
- Group D: Nigeria, Mozambique, Rwanda
It is also worth noting that the top four teams from the AfroBasket will qualify for the 2026 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup, which will be held in Germany.
