Holy Family Rumbek temporarily claimed second place in the Premier League standings after a 3-1 victory over Al-Merrikh Bentiu in their Round 24 match held at Juba National Stadium.

Despite Al-Merrikh taking an early lead through their striker Chan David, coach Deng Abukalam’s side responded with three goals. The scorers were Nhiak Agany, substitute Daniel Dut, and Abraham Chol, with goals spread across both halves.

The team led by renowned Sudanese coach “Ibrahoma” still has four postponed matches before the league concludes.

With this result, Holy Family raised their tally to 51 points, moving them into second place in the standings temporarily. Meanwhile, Al-Merrikh remains at 37 points in fourth place.
Kennedy Juma Leads Malakia to a Sweeping Victory over Young Star
Player Kennedy Juma led his team, Malakia Juba, to a resounding 4-0 win against rivals Young Star Torit in their Round 26 Premier League match held yesterday at Juba National Stadium.

Malakia is now closely chasing the top teams in the standings after improved performances in their last two matches.

Kennedy scored a hat-trick for his team in the match, while Abdelmalik Vitali netted the fourth goal for Al-Malakiya.

With this victory, Malakia lifted their total to 37 points, placing them fifth, while Al-Merrikh remains at 37 points in fourth place.

Two matches are scheduled today to conclude Round 24 of the Premier League. The first is between Olympic Renk and Jamus Juba at noon, followed by the second match in the afternoon between Koryom Bor and Lion Hunters Yei. Both games will take place at Juba National Stadium.
