Malakia Maintains Fifth Place with Victory Over Lion Hunters

Malakia Juba defeated their rivals, Lion Hunters Yei, with a score of 2-1 at the conclusion of Matchday 22 of the South Sudan Premier League “First Edition,” held yesterday afternoon at Juba National Stadium.

With this win, Malakia maintained their fifth position in the standings, continuing their pursuit of the leading teams ahead of the tournament’s conclusion.

As a result, Malakia raised their tally to 34 points in fifth place, while Lion Hunters remain at 14 points in eleventh place in the standings.


Al-Hilal Regains Balance and Deepens Bentiu City’s Woes

Al-Hilal Wau secured a 1-0 victory over Bentiu City in a Matchday 22 fixture of the Premier League held yesterday at Juba National Stadium.

Bentiu City continues to struggle in the second-to-last position in the standings, while Al-Hilal has climbed to a safer mid-table spot.

With this win, Al-Hilal Wau moved up to ninth place with 25 points. Bentiu City, meanwhile, has 12 points and remains in 13th place (second from the bottom).


Al-Merreikh 2 × 0 Olympic

Al-Merreikh Bentiu claimed all three points with a 2-0 win over Olympic Renk in another Matchday 22 Premier League encounter.

The win brings Al-Merreikh’s total to 34 points, placing them in fourth. Olympic remains at 17 points in tenth place in the standings.


Today, in the opening match of Matchday 23 of the Premier League, Nile City Yambio and Kator Juba will face off in the afternoon at Juba National Stadium.
