Aweil United claimed third place by defeating Koryom Port 7-6 in a penalty shootout, following a match between the two teams to determine the third-place winner in the 14th edition of the South Sudan National Cup, held at Juba National Stadium.

Bol scored for Aweil United, while Mubarak netted the goal for Koryom.

Aweil United had previously lost their semi-final match to last season’s runner-up, Al-Merrikh Bentiu, with a heavy 5-goal defeat. Koryom, on the other hand, was knocked out by last season’s champions, Jamus Juba, who beat them 2-0.
