Amarat United triumphed over Al Hilal with a commanding 3-0 victory in the 19th round of the local first-division league in Juba, played yesterday afternoon at Buluk Playground.
With this win, Amarat avenged its 1-0 loss to Al Hilal in the third round of the competition.
Amarat took an early lead just three minutes after the kickoff through player Bona, a score that held until the end of the first half.
In the second half, just five minutes after the restart, Johnson added the second goal. Madut then sealed the victory with a third goal, which came just three minutes before the final whistle, securing a clean-sheet win for Amarat United.
With this victory, Amarat United climbed to fifth place in the standings with 29 points, while Al Hilal remained in 11th place with 16 points.
As part of the 19th-round fixtures, Al Zalzal and Al Rabita will face off this afternoon at Buluk Playground.
