Kator defeated rivals Malakia by a goal in the opening match of the second week of the South Sudan Premier League (SSPL) yesterday afternoon at the Juba National Stadium.

The only goal of the match was scored by David before the end of the first half.
The goal stood until the referee blew the final whistle as Kator defeated Malakia by one goal. With this win, Ketur have now secured their superiority over their opponents in their head-to-head encounters.
The win puts Kator temporarily at the top of the league table with six points. Mulkia’s tally stands at three points.

The first edition of the Premier League continues today with Wajuma Aweil and Jamus Juba in the second match of the second round of the tournament at Juba National Stadium in the afternoon. Wajuma lost to Kator by two goals in the first round. Jamous beat Bentiu City 5/1.
