Koryom Bor won an important victory in their debut in the South Sudan Premier League, at the expense of Al Salam Aweil by two goals to one. The match was played at the Juba National Stadium in the first week of the tournament.
The first half of the match saw the two teams play to a goalless draw.

In the second half, Koryom Bor took the lead. The referee awarded 10 minutes of stoppage time. Corium scored their second goal of the game. Al Salam reduced the scoreline before the final whistle blew and Corium won the game 2/1 to secure their first three points in the league.
In the second round of the tournament, Koryom Bor will take on Yang Estar Torit. Meanwhile, Al Salam Awil will face Al Hilal Wau.
This afternoon at the Juba National Stadium, Al Malakia and Kator will meet in the second round of the league.
