Urgent Warning from SSDPF: Immediate Evacuation Ordered in Areas Controlled by SPLA-IO

The High Command of the Sudan People’s Defiance Forces (SSPDF) has issued an urgent order to all civilians residing in areas under the control of the Sudan People’s Liberation Armey in Opposition (SPLA-IO), instructing them to immediately evacuate these areas.

The order specifically applies to areas located nearby:

  • Military barracks
  • Opposition forces’ assembly points
  • Military operation zones

Speaking on the matter, the spokesperson of the South Sudan People’s Defence Forces (SSPDF), Major General Lul Ruai Koang, said the directive aims to protect civilians from potential harm during military operations and to prevent their use as human shields.

Major General Koang added that the High Command emphasized that the measure covers both rural and urban areas, and called on citizens to cooperate and comply with the order to avoid civilian casualties.

SSPDF, further urged all citizens to stay away from military zones and to contact the relevant authorities for assistance and necessary guidance.
