Reception of Senior U.S. Official in Juba to Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Cooperation

Ambassador Joseph Dut, Director of the Americas and Caribbean Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received Mr. Nicholas G. Checker, a senior official from the Africa Bureau of the United States Department of State, upon his arrival at Juba International Airport.

The U.S. official arrived in the capital, Juba, on a two-day official working visit to the Republic of South Sudan. During his visit, he is scheduled to hold a series of meetings with government officials to discuss issues of mutual interest and explore ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

This visit comes within the framework of ongoing efforts to consolidate diplomatic relations and enhance coordination between Juba and Washington across various fields.
