Lion Hunters Yei mounted a remarkable comeback from a two-goal deficit in the first half to claim a valuable and deserved 3-2 victory over Bentiu City, in a rescheduled match from round 21 of this season’s Premier League, played yesterday afternoon at Juba National Stadium.

The first half ended with Bentiu City leading by a goal scored by player Char Chuol. Valentine Ezi added the second just two minutes after the restart.

Lion Hunters’ player Samuel Lemi pulled one back in the 53rd minute. Just four minutes later, the same player netted the equalizer.

In the final minute of the match, substitute Henry Mawa scored the third and winning goal for Lion Hunters, sealing a 3-2 victory over Bentiu City.

With this result, Lion Hunters raised their tally to 18 points, placing them 12th on the league table. Bentiu City remained on 19 points, now positioned 11th in the standings.
