Arrival of the African Union Envoy in Juba to Strengthen Peace Efforts and Regional Cooperation

This morning, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Akuei Bona Malwal, received the African Union High Representative for the Horn of Africa and the Red Sea, Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, upon his arrival at Juba International Airport, as part of an official visit to the country.

The visit comes within the framework of strengthening joint cooperation between the Republic of South Sudan and the African Union, and supporting efforts aimed at promoting peace and stability in the region, as well as advancing regional coordination and cooperation on issues of mutual interest.
