Jamous overcomes Al Merrikh by two goals in the league

Jamus defeated Al-Merrikh by two goals without reply in the match held between the two teams yesterday afternoon at Buluk Playground, as part of the 14th week of the local first division league in Juba, “Konyokonyo League”.

The first half of the match ended in a goalless draw between the two teams.

Jamus waited until the last ten minutes of the match for their Senegalese star Gomes to score his team’s two goals against Al Merrikh. The game ended in a two-goal win for Jamous.

With this result, Jamus increased their points tally to 18 and moved up to fourth place in the standings. While Al Merriekh’s tally froze at 13 points in eighth place in the league table.

The tournament continues today with the first match between Citizen and Nyakuron in a postponed match from the sixth round at 1pm. The second match will be played at 3:00 pm between Atlabara and Munuki in the 14th week of the league at Buluk Playground.
