Nyakuron returned to the winning track after their defeat in the last round against Rainbow, by defeating Zalzal by three goals to one, in the match played between them yesterday afternoon at Buluk Playgtound in the final match of the thirteenth week of the local first division league in Juba this season.
Nyakuron took the lead first with the first and second goals of the match. This ended the first half of the match between the two teams.
In the second half, Nyakuron added their third goal of the match. The Earthquakes reduced the deficit with their only goal just before the end of the match.
Nyakuron increased their tally to 12 points and moved up to eleventh place. Zalzal, meanwhile, are now on 10 points in 12th place in the league table.
The league matches continue today. Al Merrikh and Jamus will meet in the opening match of the 14th week of the league in the afternoon at Buluk Playground.
