FIFA officially revealed today, Saturday, the schedule of the FIFA Club World Cup, which will kick off on Saturday 14 June with the match between Inter Miami and Al Ahly of Egypt in the tournament hosted by the United States of America from Saturday 14 June to Sunday 13 July 2025.
FIFA has published the 63-match schedule with dates and kick-off times for the flagship tournament, revealing an exciting set of fixtures for the 32 teams seeking to become the first ever champions of the world’s premier elite club football competition.
The opening match will pit the host nation’s representative, Inter Miami, at the 65,500-seat Hard Rock Stadium against Al Ahly FC on Saturday 14 June 2025 at 3am.
Al Ahly will represent Africa at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, along with South Africa’s Sundowns, Tunisia’s Esperance and Morocco’s Wydad, and another Arab duo from Asia, Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal and UAE’s Al Ain.
The FIFA Club World Cup will take place in the United States between 15 June and 13 July 2025, and will be held every four years under the new system, in the style of the FIFA World Cup.
Participating in the tournament: ‘Al Ahly of Egypt, Sundowns of South Africa, Esperance of Tunisia, Wydad of Morocco, Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia, Al Ain of the UAE, Urawa Red Diamonds of Japan, Ulsan of South Korea, Chelsea and Manchester City of England, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid of Spain, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund of Germany, Paris Saint-Germain of France, Inter Milan and Juventus of Italy, Porto and Benfica of Portugal, Salzburg of Austria, Monterrey, Club Leon and Pachuca of Mexico, Auckland City of New Zealand Inter Milan and Juventus of Italy, Porto and Benfica of Portugal, Salzburg of Austria, Monterrey, Club Leon and Pachuca of Mexico, Auckland City of New Zealand, Palmeiras, Flamengo, Fluminense, Botafogo of Brazil, River Plate and Boca Juniors of Argentina, Seattle Sounders of the USA, and Inter Miami ‘the host country’.
