Hany Abu Reda’s list wins Egyptian Football Federation elections by acclamation

The list of Hani Abureda, a member of the FIFA and CAF executive bureau, has secured victory in the upcoming Egyptian Football Federation elections by acclamation after the closing of nominations and the absence of any other list to run in the elections.

The list of Hani Abureda, a member of the executive bureau of the International and African Federations, submitted its candidacy papers last Wednesday for the elections of the Football Association, while no other list applied before the closing of the candidacy door.

Abu Reda’s lawyer was present at the Egyptian Football Federation headquarters to submit the nomination papers, and the list includes Hani Abu Reda as president, Khaled El-Dirandly as vice president, and Ahmed Helmy El-Sherif, Hamada El-Sherbini, Mostafa Abu Zahra, Tarek Mohamed Abouel-Enein, Walid Abdel Gawad, Mohamed Abu Hussein, and media personality Inas Mazhar.

Dr Ashraf Moussa, James Hanna and Hiam Baraka are the three additional members on the reserve list in case any of these names are disqualified.
