Mading Achueng takes on Abyei Super Eagle in the cup final

Madieng Achwueg qualified for the final match of the South Sudan Local Cup in Abyei, after beating 2/0 Nile Abethook in the semifinal round of the tournament, setting a date with last season’s defending champions Abyei Super Eagle. The match was played at the Mulmul Playground.

The first half of the match ended in a goalless draw between the two teams.

In the second half, Mading Achueng took the lead through Garang in the 55th minute from the penalty spot. The same player added a second goal for himself and his team in stoppage time.

The final match of the South Sudan Local Cup will be played in Abyei in the 2024-2025 season. Between Mading Achueng and defending champions Abyei Super Eagle next Saturday, 11/30/2024. Afternoon at the Mulmul Playground.
