Foreign Minister Discusses Humanitarian and Political Developments and Enhancing Joint Cooperation

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of South Sudan, Ambassador Monday Semaya K. Kumba, held a meeting with Ms. Anita Kiki Gbeho, Deputy Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General and Resident Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs, to discuss the latest developments in the country.

The meeting addressed current political and humanitarian developments, as well as a number of issues of mutual interest between the two sides.

Both parties also discussed ways to strengthen cooperation and coordination between the Government of South Sudan and the United Nations, in support of humanitarian efforts and the promotion of stability in the country.
