SSFA announces the start of the Premier League at the end of this month

The South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) has announced the launch of the South Sudan Premier League. In a post on its Facebook page, the SSSFA set the 29th of November as the date for the start of the league.

The SSSFA Competitions Committee also set 22 November as the deadline for the registration of clubs participating in the Premier League. The organising committee decided to hold the draw for the league on November 24 in the presence of representatives of the clubs that have confirmed their participation in the league.

The federation revealed that MTN South Sudan Telecom will sponsor the South Sudan Premier League, which will be unveiled on the 31st of May next year.

The federation, which is made up of 16 local associations, did not reveal the format of the tournament. If it is combined. Or a three-region system, or a round-robin system between the champions of the leagues in the local federations.

It is noteworthy that the South Sudan Premier League is considered the first championship at the national level. The champion represents the country in the African Champions League.
