Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Discusses Enhancing Bilateral Cooperation and Infrastructure Development with Kenyan Delegation

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Akuei Bona Malwal, held a courtesy meeting with a high-level delegation from the Republic of Kenya responsible for project implementation, headed by Ambassador Joseph Masila, as part of efforts to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.

During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in a number of vital sectors, foremost among them infrastructure development, in support of shared development goals. The two officials emphasized the importance of the existing partnership between the Republic of South Sudan and the Republic of Kenya, underscoring the need to build on the achievements of their fruitful cooperation.

For his part, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation expressed his deep appreciation for the continued support provided by the Republic of Kenya to South Sudan, reaffirming both countries’ commitment to strengthening relations of friendship and cooperation in a manner that serves their mutual interests.
