Your Excellency,
lextend my deepest gratitude to you for granting me the privilege to serve the people of South Sudan as Vice President and Chairperson of the Economic Cluster, and as First Deputy Chairperson of the SPLM Party. Holding these responsibilities was among the greatest honours of my ife, and 1 remain sincerely grateful for the trust you extended to me.
As Vice President, I dedicated myself to advancing your vision for a stable, prosperous, and self-reliant South Sudan. We worked to attract new investments into the country, opening doors for private-sector participation and laying important foundations for long-term economic growth. We also made significant strides in streamlining the collection and utilization of non-oil revenues, ensuring greater efficiency, accountability, and transparency within our national financial systems. Additionally, I engaged the diplomatic community on critical economic matters, strengthening cooperation and reinforcing South Sudan’s place as a responsible partner in the region and beyond.
In my capacity as First Deputy Chairperson of the SPLM, I focused on reviving the party’s structures and reinvigorating grassroots support ahead of the general elections, and contributing to peace-building efforts across the nation.
These achievements were possible by of the enabling environment and steady leadership you consistently fostered, Your Excellency.
1 also wish to express my heartfelt appreciation to the people of South Sudan for their support and goodwill throughout my service. Their diligence, patriotism, and enduring hope for a brighter future continue to inspire me deeply.
As our nation moves forward,I have ful confidence that South Sudan and the SPLM will continue to rise under your stewardship. You have set our country on the right path, defined by unity, peace, and inclusive development.
