Koryom Port secured a massive and resounding victory over their rivals, Atlabara Yei, with a 6-1 win in the second leg of the first round of the South Sudan National Cup, Group B (Juba), yesterday afternoon at Buluk Playground.

Garang put Koryom ahead in the 24th minute, but Koken equalized for Atlabara just two minutes later. Then, Gatyiek restored Koryom’s lead with a second goal in the 31st minute, ending the first half with a 2-1 advantage.

Just two minutes into the second half, Christopher netted Koryom’s third goal. Gatkek scored his second of the match and his team’s fourth in the 51st minute. Mudasiri added the fifth goal in the 66th minute, and Christopher sealed the rout with his second and Koryom’s sixth goal in the 86th minute.
With this result, Koryom is now on the brink of qualifying for the second round ahead of the return leg on April 7.
