Munuki FC booked the first qualification ticket to the semifinals of the South Sudan Cup in Juba this season, after beating Nujum Jamaric by two goals in their opening quarterfinal match. After beating Nujum Jamaric by two goals in the opening match of the quarterfinals held between the two teams at the Buluk Playground.

Munuki opened the scoring after the start of the second half through Ugandan star Faizo from the penalty spot after Nujum Jamaric goalkeeper David Dut fouled Josh Koj.
In the 78th minute, Josh Koj added his team’s second goal. One minute after Munuki’s goal, Kwaj Kuot reduced the score for Nujum Jamaric.
The match ended with Munuki beating Nujum Jamaric by two goals to snatch the first qualification ticket to the semi-finals of the tournament.
