Munuki beats Nujum Jamaric in the cup

Munuki FC booked the first qualification ticket to the semifinals of the South Sudan Cup in Juba this season, after beating Nujum Jamaric by two goals in their opening quarterfinal match. After beating Nujum Jamaric by two goals in the opening match of the quarterfinals held between the two teams at the Buluk Playground.

The first half between the two teams ended in a goalless draw.

Munuki opened the scoring after the start of the second half through Ugandan star Faizo from the penalty spot after Nujum Jamaric goalkeeper David Dut fouled Josh Koj.

In the 78th minute, Josh Koj added his team’s second goal. One minute after Munuki’s goal, Kwaj Kuot reduced the score for Nujum Jamaric.

The match ended with Munuki beating Nujum Jamaric by two goals to snatch the first qualification ticket to the semi-finals of the tournament.

Jamus 3 / 0 Lologo

Jamus eliminated Lologo, the team that knocked the top Congo League side out of the competition after beating them by three goals to nil in the second quarterfinal match of the local South Sudan Cup in Juba.

With this result, the team set a date with Munuki in the first semifinal match of the tournament.

Today at the Buluk Playground, Kator will face Rainbow in the quarterfinals of the tournament.
