Nhiak Agany leads Holy Family to overcome Al Hilal

Player Nhiak Agany led his team Holy Family Rumbek to beat Al Hilal Wau by two goals, in the match between the two teams in the ninth round of the Premier League championship yesterday afternoon at the Juba National Stadium.

Holy Family took the lead first in the match in the 23rd minute through Nhiak Agany. That was the end of the first half.

In the second half, Akot Akot scored the equaliser for Al Hilal in the 62nd minute.

Nhiak Agany scored his second personal goal and his team’s second in the second minute of stoppage time. The match ended with Holy Family beating Al Hilal by two goals to one.

Holy Family raised their tally to 19 points in fifth place, while Al Hilal’s tally stood at 4 points in twelfth place in the standings.

Young Star 0/1 Wajuma

Wajuma Aweil narrowly defeated Young Star Torit by a solitary goal yesterday afternoon at the Juba National Stadium in the ninth round of the league.

The only goal was scored by Alok Lual one minute before the end of the first half.

Wajuma increased their tally to 10 points and moved up to ninth place. Young Star’s tally stands at 7 points in 11th position in the league table.

Two matches will be played today, the first will be between Jamus Juba and Koryom Bor at noon. In the second match, Lion Hunters Yei and Olympic Renk will meet in the afternoon. All matches will take place at the Juba National Stadium.
