In a match that was marred by a lot of riots among the fans present, Holy Family Rumbek defeated Wajuma Aweil by two goals to one in the eighth round of the South Sudan Premier League, The match was played in the eighth round of the South Sudan Premier League yesterday afternoon at the Juba National Stadium.

Wajuma took the lead first through their player Marco in the 38th minute. Holy Family equalised through Egam just three minutes later. The first half of the match ended in a goalless draw.
In the second half, as the game drew to a close in the 78th minute, substitute Daniel scored the winning goal for Holy Family. The game ended with Holy Family beating Wagoma by two goals to one.
With the result, Holy Family took their tally to 16 points and moved up to fifth place. Wajuma’s tally stood at 7 points in ninth place in the standings.
Young Star 2 / 2 Bentiu City
Young Star Torit and Bentiu City Bentiu were held to a 2-2 draw yesterday afternoon at the Juba National Stadium, in the eighth round of the tournament.

Young Star took an early lead in the 11th minute through James. The same player then added his second personal goal and his team’s second in the second minute of added time of the first half.
Gatang equalised for Bentiu City just two minutes into the second half. Before Tet scored the equaliser for Bantu City in the 58th minute. The game ended in a 2-2 draw between the two teams.

With the result, Young Star took their tally to 7 points in 10th place, while Bantu City have 8 points and are in eighth place in the competition.
Lion Hunters Yei and Nile City Yambio will meet in the afternoon at the Juba National Stadium in the eighth round of the league.
