Qatar’s BeIN Sports reported that the Confederation of African Football (CAF) is considering postponing the date of the African Nations Championship, which is scheduled to be held next February.

CAF had previously announced that the tournament will be held from 1 to 28 February 2025, jointly organised by Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania, and the draw for the tournament will be held on 15 January in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi.

If the postponement is confirmed, the tournament will be held in August instead of February, according to the sources.
