Juba/ Alwadi
Juba’s bottom club in this season’s Juba First Division League (JFL) earned a draw against rivals Nyakuron with a goal apiece. The game was played in the 14th week of the league yesterday afternoon at the Buluk Playground.
Alrabita took the lead first. Nyakuren scored the equaliser before the end of the first half.
Both teams tried to take the lead at the start of the second half. The game went on like this, until the referee announced the end of the match with a positive draw between the two teams.
This is the only draw for a team that has repeatedly suffered back-to-back defeats since the start of the league.
Nyakuron earned their first point, but are still at the bottom of the league table. Nyakuron, on the other hand, are now on 15 points.
