The 2024 CAF Awards, which will take place in Marrakech, Morocco, on Monday 16 December, is a celebration of African excellence and an opportunity to honour those who have influenced football on the continent over the past year.
The ceremony will take place at the Palais des Congrès in Marrakech at 19:00 local time (18:00 GMT / 20:00 Cairo time / 21:00 EAT) and will be available to viewers across Africa, enabling fans to join in the festivities.
The event will be broadcast live on CAF’s YouTube channel (CAFTV) along with many prominent international stations, including CAF’s partners such as BeIN Sports, Canal+, Supersport, SABC, Azam and many other platforms.
The event is an unmissable experience for football fans, with players, coaches, guests, presenters and entertainers, as well as an important opportunity to showcase the development and ambition of the game on the continent.
The programme will be broadcast live across various channels in Africa, with world-class content including interviews with the winners and guests of the ceremony.
The CAF Awards ceremony will be hosted by Kate Scott and Jalal Bouzrara and will feature entertainment from Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz and Morocco’s Distankt, as well as other top African artists.
The winners of 19 awards will be announced during the ceremony, including the CAF/FIFA Pro African Men’s and Women’s Team of the Year awards, adding to the anticipation to see who will go down in African football history.
