President Receives Report on the Service Sector

President Salva Kiir Mayardit today received Vice President Hussein Abdelbagi Akol, who is in charge of the service sector in the Republic of South Sudan, and who presented a comprehensive report to the president on issues hindering the delivery of education and health services to citizens.Abdelbagi briefed the president on the general situation and public policies in the service sector, highlighting the importance of enhancing stability across the country.

The meeting also addressed the need to continue supporting the Tumaini Initiative, which aims to foster cooperation among political groups to achieve peace and sustainable development throughout South Sudan.

Vice President Akol stated that President Salva Kiir will soon hold an important meeting with university chancellors to discuss and address issues related to the payment of salaries for teachers and employees in the education sector at all levels in South Sudan.
