Jamous defeats Kator by 4-0 in the league

Jamus defeated Katorr by four clean goals, in the opening match of the twelfth week of the local first division league in Juba “KonyoKonyo League” yesterday afternoon at Buluk Playground, in Juba.

The first half ended in a goalless draw between the two teams.

Jamus opened the scoring from a penalty kick in the 64th minute through their player Mudathir, and Azbon Malish added the second goal for Jamus.

In the 77th minute, Yohanna Poulino scored the third goal for Jamus. Azbon Malish rounded off the scoring for Jamus with his second goal and his team’s fourth at the end of regulation time. Jamous came away with a four-goal victory over Kator.

Jamus raised their points tally to 12 in fifth place. While Kator’s balance remained at 13 points in fourth place in the league table.

Al Hilal 3/2 Atlabara

Al Hilal secured a hard-fought 3/2 win over league leaders Atlabara 3/2 in a postponed match from the fifth round of the league.

The first half of the match ended in a scoreless draw between the two teams.

In the second half, Al Hilal took the lead with their second goal of the match, and then added a third. Before Atlabara reduced the score to 3/2 with their second goal.

The result brings Al Hilal’s tally to 10 points in ninth place. Atlabara remain in the top spot despite the loss with 17 points.

Today, Munuki and Amarat United will meet in the twelfth week of the league in the afternoon at the Buluk Playground.
