Talks in Juba to Strengthen Cooperation between South Sudan and the Czech Republic

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Akuei Bona Malwal, today received in Juba the Non-Resident Deputy Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the Republic of South Sudan, Ambassador Miroslav Bálint, who is based in Addis Ababa, on a courtesy visit.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen the bilateral relations between South Sudan and the Czech Republic, emphasizing the importance of enhancing joint cooperation in several vital sectors, including agriculture, health, mining, and wildlife conservation, in support of the country’s economic development efforts.
The two sides also discussed arrangements for the expected visit of the Deputy State Minister of the Czech Republic to South Sudan in the near future, aimed at holding bilateral consultations and advancing cooperation between the two countries.
