The Governor of Warrap State Bans Mobile Livestock Auctions to Curb Theft

The Governor of Warrap State, Francis Marial Abor Bol, has issued a ban on mobile livestock auctions and prohibited the buying and selling of livestock outside designated auction areas.

The governor urged livestock traders to avoid engaging in illegal business practices, highlighting concerns about theft and other unlawful activities associated with unregulated sales.

The order grants county authorities the power to regulate and manage official auction centers within their respective counties and districts.

The governor also directed security forces to enforce the ban immediately and ensure that all livestock trade complies with the new regulations.

Governor Marial’s directives aim to bring order and transparency to the livestock market, reduce criminal activities, and promote lawful business practices.
