Juba – Al-Wadi Newspaper

The National Communication Authority (NCA) of South Sudan, in collaboration with the South Sudan Revenue Authority (SSRA), signed a strategic partnership agreement on Wednesday with N-Soft, a leading international provider of digital revenue assurance solutions. The agreement aims to enhance transparency and improve the efficiency of revenue collection in the telecommunications sector.

The signing ceremony was attended by the Director General of the NCA, Gieth Kon Mathiang, the Commissioner General of the SSRA, Simon Akuei Deng, and the Vice President of Sales at N-Soft, David Meseguer.

The agreement focuses on the implementation of an advanced digital platform that will enable real-time monitoring of financial operations in the telecom sector. This will strengthen tax compliance and help institutionalize transparency and accountability.

The NCA emphasized that this partnership is part of its ongoing efforts to build a technology-driven public finance system that aligns with sustainable development goals and aims to improve the quality of services provided to citizens.

This move is expected to boost the efficiency of the country’s financial systems and foster a more transparent investment environment in the telecommunications sector, which remains one of the key pillars of the national economy.
