South Sudan National Olympic Committee Participates in African National Olympic Committees Secretaries General Meeting in Mozambique

The South Sudan National Olympic Committee took part in the 41st meeting of the Secretaries General of African National Olympic Committees, held in Maputo, Mozambique, on September 27-28, 2025, under the auspices of the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA).

The meeting was held under the theme “2021–2024 Quadrennial Plan: Implementation, Evaluation, Lessons Learned, and Strategic Objectives for 2025–2028,” bringing together representatives from 54 National Olympic Committees across the continent to discuss the future of sport in Africa.

The sessions focused on key topics including financial governance, sports crisis management, the integration of artificial intelligence in sports, supporting young talent through the Olympafrica project, and developing an ambitious strategic plan for the coming period.

This event provided an ideal platform to strengthen cooperation and innovation among African Olympic Committees, aiming to enhance the Olympic movement and realize the continent’s aspirations in the sports sector.
