National Minister of Labour Arrives in Malakal to Attend Vocational Training Graduation Ceremony

The National Minister of Labour, Hon. James Hoth Mai, arrived in Malakal this morning, where he received a warm official and public welcome at Malakal International Airport. The visit marks the beginning of an official mission aimed at supporting vocational training and youth empowerment efforts.

The minister is in town to attend the graduation ceremony of a new cohort of trainees from the Malakal Vocational Training Center (MVTC)—an event described as a key milestone in the promotion of technical skills, hard work, and productivity.

This occasion celebrates the center’s continued efforts to equip young people with practical skills and to provide the national labor market with well-trained professionals, in line with the government’s broader strategy to promote vocational education and enhance employment opportunities.
