Chelsea staged a remarkable comeback in the second half, scoring four goals to crush Spanish side Real Betis 4-1 at Wrocław Stadium and clinch the UEFA Europa Conference League title.

The dynamic duo of Enzo Fernández and Nicolas Jackson each scored, both assisted by the outstanding Cole Palmer. Late goals from Jadon Sancho and Moisés Caicedo sealed the victory for Chelsea after Betis had taken the lead in the first half with a strike from Moroccan winger Abde Ezzalzouli.
Palmer, 23, delivered two decisive assists within five minutes during the second half, completely turning the match in Chelsea’s favor. His dazzling performance earned him the Man of the Match award.

Chelsea’s equalizer came in the 65th minute when Fernández weaved between two defenders to head Palmer’s cross into the net, igniting the Chelsea crowd.
Just five minutes later, Palmer once again made the difference, cleverly evading his marker near the byline and sending in another precise cross, which Jackson converted with his chest to put Chelsea ahead.

Substitute Jadon Sancho extended the lead in the 83rd minute with a stunning long-range effort into the far corner that goalkeeper Adrián could not reach. Moisés Caicedo then wrapped up the game with a spectacular goal, ensuring Chelsea lifted the Conference League trophy in its fourth edition—securing the club’s seventh European title.
First Club to Win All Three Major European Competitions
With this triumph, Chelsea became the first club to win all three major European competitions: two UEFA Champions League titles, two Europa League titles, and the now-defunct Cup Winners’ Cup.

Reacting to the win, coach Enzo Maresca told TNT Sports, “I’m very happy,” adding, “I was a bit disappointed with the first half—I think we started the match the wrong way,” while praising the team’s improved performance after the break.
The result had no impact on either team’s continental prospects, with Chelsea already qualifying for the Champions League and Real Betis securing a Europa League spot through their respective domestic leagues.

Even before kickoff, Betis fans lit green flares to express their passion and pride in the club’s historic first appearance in a European final.
