The head coach of our national football team, Nicolas Dupuis, has called up 20 players to enter a training camp in preparation for the second international break of the year.
The head coach based his selections on the players’ physical, technical, and mental readiness, having closely followed several matches in the Premier League.

The Bright Stars are set to play two friendly matches against Eritrea and Malawi during the upcoming international break in June.
South Sudan team is also preparing for the seventh and eighth rounds of Group B matches in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, which will be held in Canada, Mexico, and the United States next September.

The national team will host the Democratic Republic of Congo in Juba before traveling to Nouakchott to face Mauritania on their home.
In the final two rounds, South Sudan will conclude its World Cup qualifying campaign by hosting Senegal and Togo at the Juba National Stadium in October.

Our national team currently sits in fifth place in Group B with three points from three draws and three losses, while the Democratic Republic of Congo leads the group with 13 points.
