Al-Ghazala Draws with Al-Mudiriya in Aweil

The match between Al-Ghazala Wau and Al-Mudiriya Aweil ended in a 1-1 draw during the second round of Group A in the South Sudan National League, held at Freedom Square.

Al-Ghazala’s goal was scored by Athian Athian, while Tong Dut netted the equalizer for Al-Mudiriya.

With this result, Al-Ghazala raises its tally to 4 points, securing second place and trailing Al-Mudiriya, who leads with the same number of points, only by goal difference.

Today in Group A, Zalan Rumbek will face Itihad Kuajok in the second-round match, scheduled for the afternoon at Freedom Square.

Salam Gains Points Against Amatong

In Group B in Juba, Salam Bor was awarded the points for their match against Amatong due to a forfeit. The team from Melut failed to appear at the stadium as they were still in Paloch at the time of the match, attempting to travel to Juba.

As a result, the team from Bor now holds 3 points in Group B standings.

Today, two matches will be played in Group B in Juba. The first match, between Villa United Yambio and Atlabara Juba, will take place at noon. In the afternoon, Salam Bor will face a challenge from Al-Volcano Torit. Both matches will be held at Buluk Playground.
