Juba – Al-Wadi Reports
The Executive Director of the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Authority, Deng Akuei Kak, has issued a decision to dismiss Martin Mabior from his position, citing violations of the Civil Service Act and the Public Procurement Act of 2018.
This decision comes just two days after President Salva Kiir Mayardit issued a Republican Decree canceling Mabior’s appointment as Undersecretary at the Ministry of Information, Communication, and Postal Services. The revocation followed a wave of controversy sparked by the leak of an audio recording allegedly featuring Mabior delivering harsh criticism against the President, the government, and members of the First Family.
According to the official document obtained by Al-Mawqif newspaper, Mabior—who served as Deputy Director of the Procurement Unit within the Authority—committed violations that contravene provisions of the 2018 Public Procurement Act, prompting disciplinary action.
