Young Star Snatches a Draw Against Salaam

Young Star Torit managed to secure a 2-2 draw against Salaam Aweil in the opening match of the 22nd round of the South Sudan Premier League, held yesterday afternoon at Juba National Stadium.

Salaam initially took the lead with two goals scored by Ngor and Mahmoud. Young Star later equalized through goals from Thomas and Lado.

With this result, Young Star raised their tally to 13 points, placing them 12th in the league standings. Salaam reached 28 points, holding 7th place.

Today at 1:00 PM, Nile City Yambio will face Holy Family Rumbek in a mid-table clash. Later at 3:30 PM, the top-of-the-table derby between league leaders Kator and second-placed Jamus will take place. All matches are being held at Juba National Stadium.
