Holy Family Narrowly Overcomes Malakia in Premier League

Holy Family Rumbek secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over rivals Malakia Juba in the 17th round of the South Sudan Premier League yesterday afternoon at Juba National Stadium.

The team returned to winning ways after suffering a 2-0 defeat to Kator Juba in the previous round.

Goals for Holy Family were scored by John and Abraham, while Malakia’s lone goal came from player Kasimo.

With this result, Holy Family raised its tally to 35 points, maintaining second place in the standings. Meanwhile, Malakia remained at 27 points in fifth place.

Later today, Lion Hunters Yei will face Kator Juba in the final match of the 17th round of the Premier League, also at Juba National Stadium.
