Al Merriekh added to the suffering of their rivals, and complicated their position in Juba’s local first division league, the Konyokonyo League, by beating them 4-0 in the 11th week of the league. They beat them with a clean sheet in the eleventh week of the league.

The first half of the match ended in a goalless draw between the two teams.

The goals were scored by Emmanuel (hat-trick) and Noah. With this result, Al Merrikh increased their tally to 9 points. The team is still languishing at the bottom of the league table with no points.

The league continues today at 1:00 pm at Buluk Playground with the match between Citizen and Atlabara. Citizen have 9 points in eighth place. While Atlabara has 11 points in fourth place.
