The teams that qualified for the UEFA Champions League 2025 Round of 16 playoffs

The league phase of the UEFA Champions League 2024-2025 ended in its new system, after 8 rounds of excitement and fun witnessed the largest tournament at the club level.

UEFA has changed the UEFA Champions League system, increasing the number of participating teams to 36 instead of 32, with the top eight clubs qualifying for the Round of 16 directly.

The 9th to 24th place finishers will play a round-robin playoff, from which 8 teams will advance to the Round of 16 (knockout).

This makes us expect fiery clashes in the Round of 16 playoffs, with major clubs such as Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Manchester City, as well as Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain.

The first leg of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 will take place on 11-12 February, with the second leg a week later on 18-19 February.
