Holy Family beats Young Star in the Premier League

Holy Family Rumbek defeated Young Star Torit by three goals to one. Yesterday afternoon at the Juba National Stadium, in the final match of the sixth round of the championship.

Young Star took the lead first through Lado in the seventh minute. Nhiak equalised for Holy Family in the 37th minute, which ended the first half.

In the second half, Nhiak added his team’s second goal and his second personal goal of the match.

Rock rounded off the scoring with a third goal in the 76th minute. The match ended with a three-goal victory for Holy Family over Young Star.

The win took the score to 10 points in fifth place. Young Star’s tally stands at 3 points in 12th place in the standings.

Two matches will be played today to open the seventh round of the tournament. In the first match, Al Merrikh Bentiu and Al Hilal Wau will meet at a quarter to two o’clock. Malakia Juba will take on Koryom Bor at 4pm at the Juba National Stadium.
