As part of its proactive program under the slogan #Peace_Begins, the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission in South Sudan visited the Indian forces at the mission’s headquarters in Kodok to assess the situation on the ground and interact with the local communities there.

The Indian forces presented stationery gifts (school supplies) to the students of the primary school there to emphasize the importance of education.



The UN mission also organized a veterinary camp in Malakal to care for and vaccinate livestock, aiming to foster positive communication between Indian forces and local communities.

The United Nations peacekeeping forces in various areas of South Sudan are implementing a program to establish the concepts of peace, social coexistence, and the rule of law in issues and matters among the citizens of South Sudan. This program comes under the slogan #PeaceBeginsWith “………………………”.
