Al Merrikh Bentiu appoints Richard Justin as interim coach

El Merriekh Bentiu has appointed Richard Justin as interim head coach of the club’s football team, replacing resigned coach Edmond Hassan. He has taken over the team on an interim basis.

The club published a photo of club secretary Wali wunow keah with the new coach. The club’s Facebook page reads: ‘Al Merrikh Bentiu FC is pleased to announce the appointment of Coach Richard Justin Lado as interim head coach with immediate effect. Coach Richard will serve as interim head coach while we search for a permanent replacement. He brings valuable experience and knowledge of the team, which is essential during this period of transition. His leadership will be crucial in guiding the players and staff as we move forward.’

He added:’ Under the leadership of Coach Richard Justin, we look forward to building on our strengths and facing the challenges ahead. We believe that with his expertise, our team will continue to evolve and continue to succeed on and off the field.’

Coach Richard Justin is a former international player, having played for a number of top clubs in Sudan and South Sudan. He is the second coach of El Merrikh Bentiu in less than three months. He will start his duties immediately in preparation for the team’s upcoming South Sudan Premier League match against Holy Family Rumbek. In the final match of the third round of the tournament.
