Amarat United deepens Al Merrikh’s wounds with a clean sheet

Amarat United deepened the wounds of their rivals Al Merriekh, by beating them by three goals without reply. In a postponed match from the fifth round of this season’s Juba Local First Division League ‘Konyokonyo League’.


The first half ended in a goalless draw between the two teams. At the start of the second half, Amarat United scored the first goal of the match and then followed it up with a second goal.
In stoppage time, Amarat United scored the third goal, which ended the match.


This is Amarat United’s second consecutive win in the league. After beating Goodili 4/1 in their last match.
Amarat United took their tally to 20 points and moved up to second place temporarily. Al Merrikh’s tally stands at 12 points, leaving them in ninth place in the league table.
