Jamus advance to the final of the Cup with a win over Munuki

Defending champions Jamus have qualified for the final of the South Sudan Cup in Juba this season. This is after beating local derby rivals Munuki by two goals yesterday at the Juba National Stadium in the semi-final round of the competition.

Jamus took the lead through Azbon in the tenth minute. Omar added the second goal for Jamus in the 35th minute. That was the end of the first half of the match.

Three minutes before the end of the match, Munuki George scored the only goal for his team. The game ended with Jamus beating Munuki by two goals to advance to the final to face AlMalakia in a repeat of last season’s final.

Jamus are the holders of the South Sudan local and national cup titles. And the local and national Super Cup last season.

Rainbow 0 /1 Almalakia

The defending champions and runners-up beat Rainbow by a goal to nil in the other semi-final match at the Juba National Stadium.

The only goal of the match was scored by striker Mbior two minutes before the end of normal time.

The two teams will face each other in the final of the tournament. The two teams met last season, which saw Jamus win the championship at the expense ofAl Malakia.
