30 players summoned for the national team camp

The technical Manager of the national football team, Nicolas Dupuis, has selected the list of players who will join the team’s camp in preparation for the second round of the qualifiers for the upcoming CHAN championship.

The list included 30 players, including players who were called up for the first time.

The national team is preparing for the second round of the East and Central Africa Region (CECAFA) qualifiers for next year’s African Nations Championship in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.

The team had qualified for the second round of the qualifiers with a win and a draw in the first round matches against neighboring Kenya 2-0 and 1-1, respectively, in Juba and Kampala.

South Sudan will face Rwanda in the first leg on December 22 in Juba. And the second leg on December 28 in Kigali.

Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania have already qualified for the finals as hosts of the tournament between February 1-28 2025. There is one seat left for the East and Central African Confederation (CECAFA)
